September is all to easy to do Back to School and/or Fall/Autumn. To me, September also represents those last weekend trips out of town, the end of the warmer weather, etc. So with that in mind, my suggestion is Summer's Final Moments. :)
Besides September being my the start of my favorite season it is also my favorite because school starts and I get a little peace and quiet everyday because 3 of my 4 kids are going to be in school. So My suggestion is: peace and quiet for Mom's
How about "Fall Fest" (or Fall Festival) to me that brings to mind all that fall is - colors, leaves, scarecrows, apples, football - all inside a big celebration package!
I would like something for teen boys, xbox, playstation, guitar, TV etc.
How about County Fair? The crispness of the air, the smell of fair food, lots of rides and games!
I would love to see sports, football, baseball, soccor, basketball, etc. We have been busy playing them in the summer and start more in the fall. I would also love to have a family kit. Family Reunions fill every summer and we take our family pictures in the fall for Christmas cards. I would love to have the elements to scrapbook my favorite people being together.
I would love to see a kit about Carnivals. The side shows, rides, animals and the variety of people that both run the carnival and come to see it.
I think that it should be something with fire fighters and police officers. I havent seen a lot of those and September hits close to home for me since I lost family on 9/11
I'd really love to see what everyone would come up with a pirate theme =D
I LOVE your blog trains. It's like finding treasure!I don't want to join Facebook, but how about America's Workers? There are a lot of great possibilities with that theme.Jennifer
I like Raewyn's teen suggestion, too, but I was thinking something for the men...they are always so hard to scrap for!
I want to add to my suggestion about America's Workers. I thought of it because of Labor Day in September, and because autumn colors and school has probably been done often. (I only just recently discovered blog trains.)At first, I was thinking of service workers like firefighters and police men and women, and of course teachers. Then as I thought about it, any other kind of worker might be included....medical, truckers, office, fishermen, actors, musicians.........whatever interests those creative minds out there who contribute to the blog train.Jennifer
Here September is the time when the birds depart for Africa, warm countries. What about birds or Africa theme?
Celebration: wedding celebration that is !!! From Bachelor(et) party, bridal shower, preparation, planing, shopping, trial, rehearsal, ceremony, reception ... You see the picture ...;-)
Day with Daddy. Daddy-Daughter dates, playing in the park, wrestling, racing, piggie back rides...
Maybe state fair we usually go at that time of year or celebrations in general.
September is national sewing month... how bout everyone does muted colors with loves of stitches, stich alphas, lots of patterned papers... whatever brings to mind sewing.
With school starting and after school activities, school clubs, etc. I think "Teacher Appreciation" would be good. We also have alot of people gettin ready to graduate college courses so would be good for that as well. I also like the 9/11 idea above. My first time here lookin forward to many more. Thanks - Jen
Military/Freedom would be the theme I'd most like to see...
I would say Apple Picking Time - a tradition in our family. Yummy fresh apples ready to be picked by everyone.
I also like the teen/male theme -- grungy, gaming, sporty styled theme.
Back to School for middle and high school age... young boy age... back to school for elementary aged kids
